Encouraging Engineers

Entreprenuers and engineers are created in the third grade. That’s what Abe Reichental believes and it’s why his company, Rock Hill, SC-based 3D Systems, is giving away its innovative 3-dimensional printers and software to schools. On this program, CEO Reichental urges educators and parents to encourage careers in engineering, and explains why he’s bullish on a manufacturing economy in the region. Carolinas Gateway Partnership CEO John Gessaman  and Suzy Hrabovsky of the Center for Economic Development and Empowerment join the conversation.
