Philanthropic Partnerships

The role of philanthropic organizations continues to shift as governmental budgets shrink, leaving fewer public dollars for social service causes. Foundation For The Carolinas CEO Michael Marsicano engages the business community to fill the service gaps and replicate successful inititaves in education, the environment and other focus areas in which private donors are passionate. On this program, we discuss the work of sustaining interest in social causes and the funding to support changes for the greater good. Madeleine McGee of the South Carolina Association for Nonprofit Organizations and Karen McNeil-Miller of the Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust join the conversation.
