High school guidance counselors could hold the key to closing the region’s skills gap, according to educators and industry executives. All too often, hiring managers are not able to find applicants with the unique skills needed for employers. The problem is especially acute for technology companies. On this program, SciQuest Inc. CEO Stephen Wiehe suggests partnerships to educate high school students on the relevance of career paths before entering college. Also joining the dialogue are  Anita Brown-Graham of the Institute for Emerging Issues at North Carolina State University and Northeastern University Regional Dean Dr. Cheryl Richards.
