Transforming RTP

Posted on: July 25th, 2014 by admin

As an economic engine for our region since its founding in 1959, Research Triangle Park has attracted scores of research firms and scientists while also serving as a hub for collaboration between universities. But as the mobility and preferences of employees and employers has changed, the foundation which governs the park is embarking on a makeover at RTP to retain and recruit innovative companies and key talent. On this program. Robert Ingram, General Partner at Hatteras Venture Partners and Chairman of the Board for the Research Triangle Foundation, discusses the work of renovating RTP for today’s knowledge economy, as well as the public-private partnerships needed to complete the park’s transformation. Hal Johnson of NAI Earle Furman and Dr. Matt Martin of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond join the discussion.
