As the head of the nation’s second largest credit union by deposits, State Employees’ Credit Union President and CEO Jim Blaine believes a simple strategy has been the key to growth. More customers have likely given credit unions a closer look in the aftermath of the nation’s financial meltdown and alleged misdeeds by some commercial banks and trading firms. On this program, Blaine discusses the rebuilding of public trust in banking and accountability of financial institutions.
